ABOUT
Built on Coaching.
Driven by Community.
Focused on You.
Iron Soul Fitness was born during the pandemic, in the basement of an office building with no signage and under strict restrictions. Despite the challenges, we built what has now been voted Creston’s Best Gym by the community. From the very beginning, our focus was clear: deliver exceptional Personal Training and Group Training that prioritizes connection, belonging, and professional fitness coaching.
However, we quickly noticed a recurring theme: Creston wanted a 24/7 access gym. While it wasn’t part of our original vision, the demand never wavered, and as the requests continued we started asking ourselves: Could this be something we do?
After much reflection and research, the answer became clear. Expanding to include Open Gym isn’t just a response to demand—it’s a natural extension of our mission. By making fitness more accessible, we can help even more people in our community improve their lives through health and wellness.
From that decision, everything fell into place in ways that felt almost too perfect to be coincidence. And now, we’re here—proudly relocating to the former fire hall building in Spring of 2025. Under one roof, we will now offer it all: expert coaching, dynamic group training, and 24/7 Open Gym access. We are more than just a gym, we are a community—united by the belief that we are stronger together.
Welcome to the next chapter of Iron Soul Fitness!

JORDANA EVANS
OWNER & CO-FOUNDER
Owner. Co-Founder. Coach. The glue that holds Iron Soul together.
She is the Iron in Iron Soul, not because she’s the loudest in the room, but because she shows up every single day with care, passion, and purpose.
What fuels this place:
Her belief that gyms should build humans, not just muscles.
If you’ve met her, you know:
She’ll remember your name.
Your birthday.
Your injuries.
Your wins.
Because Jordana genuinely loves people…
She loves connection.
She loves laughter.
She loves creating spaces where everyone feels seen and supported.
Jordana is also a trained actor and volunteers with the Footlighters Society, which explains the warmth, creativity, and why classes with her are never boring.

BRENT EVANS
HEAD TRAINER & CO-FOUNDER
BCRPA Personal Training | BCRPA Weight Training | Crossfit L1 & L2 | Certified Yoga Instructor | Certified Health Coach
Currently working toward: Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification
Before Iron Soul was a gym… it was an idea.
An idea that fitness should feel less intimidating.
More supportive.
More human.
Brent didn’t build this space just to create strong bodies. He built it to create strong people. A place where beginners feel welcome, athletes feel challenged, and everyone feels like they belong.
But what really sets Brent apart isn’t just the credentials.
It’s how he shows up.
He pushes when you need accountability.
Supports when things feel hard.
And celebrates your wins like they’re his own.

Sarah Lysenko
PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP COACH
Crossfit L1 & L2 | BCRPA Weight Training | BCRPA Personal Training
Sarah understands community like few others. Her family has deep roots in Creston, and her love for this town — and for Iron Soul — can be felt in every moment she’s here. She’s assertive, fresh, and full of energy, constantly pushing herself and inspiring everyone around her to do the same.
A formidable athlete on the floor, Sarah’s no stranger to CrossFit competitions, she played basketball in college , and loves hiking. She lives her life actively, intentionally, and sees nearly everything as an opportunity to improve the world around her.
Sarah is a talented website designer and brand creator whose work you’ve probably seen all over Creston — from Iron Soul's merch and signage to local businesses like the brewery. She literally leaves her mark on the town, making it more beautiful and connected.
Sarah’s got a playful edge. She’ll challenge you in a workout, call you out when you need it, and still make you laugh while doing it.

MARSHALL PERRIN
PERSONAL TRAINER
Canfitpro Certified Personal Trainer | Certified Yoga Instructor
Marshall works with clients of all shapes, sizes, and goals, helping them move better, eat smarter, and build habits that last. His background as a yoga instructor means flexibility and mobility aren’t just afterthoughts — they’re a part of every session.
Disciplined? Absolutely.
Walks the talk? Every single day.
Punctual? Like a Rolex watch.
He’s also a model, a firefighter, a musician, a cat lover, and has a soft spot for his nieces.
Don’t let the exterior fool you — this man is a marshmallow at heart.
He combines personal training, habit coaching, and macro guidance with a dose of humor and genuine care. Clients leave stronger, healthier, and feeling supported — not just because of the training, but because of the person behind it.

DENISE DUMAS
GROUP COACH
Crossfit L1 | Certified Yoga Instructor
Off the gym floor:
Denise is also a Town Councillor, fiercely committed to making Creston a stronger, better place — not just talking about change, but showing up for it.
What drives her:
She’s passionate about improvement.
Gives credit where it’s due.
And dares to believe things can be better than they are.
But don’t get it twisted — that optimism is backed by discipline, dedication, and hard work in and out of the gym.
Outside the gym:
Loves hiking.
Pushes herself to do the hard things (yes… even running).
And the real real?
This lady is STRONG — physically, mentally, and in the way that shows up when it counts.

AIMEE THOMPSON
PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP COACH
RMT | BCRPA Weight Trainer | BCRPA Personal Trainer | Holistic Nutrition Coach
Early-morning energy bringer. Coach. Entrepreneur. And one of the most positive forces in our community.
Aimee is a Creston native and the owner of Thompson Massage Therapy. Her background as an RMT gives her a huge edge as a coach because she doesn’t just teach movements — she understands how the body actually works.
That means her clients don’t just feel better on the massage table…
They move better in real life.
And after navigating injuries of her own, she brings a level of empathy, care, and coaches with integrity that makes people feel safe, supported, and confident in their training.
But what really makes Aimee special is who she is as a person.
She shows up with a megawatt smile, an infectious sense of humour, and positivity that’s impossible not to catch.
